This is the official website of the International Economics & Finance Society (IEFS), an international organization of academic and professional economists with general interest in international economics, particularly international trade and international finance.

IEFS is an associate member of the Allied Social Science Association (ASSA), and our annual meetings are organized in the context of the annual ASSA-American Economic Association (AEA) winter meetings.

We sponsor sessions at the ASSA-AEA winter meetings and at regional conferences such as the Southern Economics Association (SEA) and the Western Economics Association International (WEAI) annual meetings.

We have several hundred members throughout the world, with regional chapters with their own activities in Japan, Spain, the UK and the USA (this website).

IEFS is a registered is a non-profit organization in the United States.
